Dean Wareham (Galaxie 500, Luna, Dean & Britta) returns with his first album of original songs since 2014’s eponymous album, a smart, poetic and politically-tinged collection of songs, featuring guitar solos that recall his playing in Galaxie 500. Produced by Jason Quever (Beach House, Cass McCombs) at Panoramic Studios on Stinson Beach with additional musicians Britta Phillips (Dean & Britta, Luna, Jem) and Roger Brogan (Spectrum). Eight original songs plus covers of “Duchess” by Scott Walker and “Under Skys” by ‘60s Massachusetts cult band Lazy Smoke.
